Again the “Spätkauf Kunstaktion” was showcasing Berlin’s own breed of24/7 convenience store: the Späti. Spätis have become sites of social and cultural interaction, hubs of diversity. Artists have been invited to transform them into temporary exhibition spaces, each with its own flair! Whether painted store windows, sculptures or video installations, Späti artworks were enriching the neighborhood, 24/7–during the entire month of August 2013.
